  • Is there's anything in all existance that is bigger than the entire omniverse?

    • I know this question wasn't meant for me but hopefully this answer should fill you in until Beyonder gets here. There is a huge hierarchy of things bigger than the Omniverse, starting with Godverses and Monocosms and going all the way up to The Box and arguably Nothing. (The 'nothing' page is extremely controversial and poorly written which is why it is only considred to be 'possibly' bigger. Hopefully soon the page can be remade to fit the quality standards of V&D.)

This basically helped answer the question thanks Scoot.

    • When did the omniverse first form?

Subjective with everyone and with me I say it always existed as a void until a big bang sparked.

The common consensus (at least among active members) is that the Omniverse is beyond time so it never really had any beginning nor end. Of course, as Beyonder's reply above demonstrated, not everyone agrees.

Facts the Omniverse is basically old beyond words itself.

    • Can someone make their own way on how the omniverse was created in their own style in a story?

        Loading editor
    • Absolutely yes due to the Law of Cosmological Subjectivity. However, it might be more convenient if you specified that this was a different Omniverse from the main one, that way people reading it wouldn't confuse it with the current version of the Omniverse.

    • What do you mean different omniverse?

        Loading editor
    • There are multiple Omniverses within our Beyond Bubble. So maybe your page could be in a different Omniverse from the main one on the Wiki? Just a suggestion.

    • So the¬†omniverse that i created in my fiction is not the one that contain other realities such DC and Marvel?

        Loading editor
    • Well you could argue the main Omniverse doesn't contain it either.

        Loading editor
    • Both DC and Marvel are multiverses which are much smaller than omniverses. If you want to you can put them inside any omniverse you are using though.

If I remember correctly, in their fandoms, omniverse was the thing that contained both our reality as well as those settings and all other fictional settings as well. The top level thing of an all-encompassing cosmology.

That would make it more equivalent to the box on this wiki than our current omniverse. This was also my view of what the omniverse should be before I came to the wiki and, in order to prevent conflicts with the views around here, I had to invent the name of omniumverse to define what I still think should be the omniverse.

    • "Both DC and Marvel are multiverses which are much smaller than omniverses."

Just because they're called Multiverses doesn't mean they're the same size as V&D multiverses. I can call the Box the "multiverse" in my Cosmology if I want but that doesn't mean the Box is contained by a Megaverse.

        Loading editor
    • That's fair enough.

But they are both close enough to that though. Both are a, more or less infinite, collection of universes with a few additional non-universe like planes thrown in. The DC 52 cut the number of universes in there down from infinity to 52 while keeping the other few non-universe like planes.

Anyway, they are much closer to a multiverse than anything else. At most they are somewhat like a megaverse that contains a single multiverse plus a few other different structures.

    • Are there multi versions of the omniverse via timelines?

        Loading editor
    • There is more than one Omniverse, but not via timelines. Omniverses are contained by Monocosms. Our Monocosm, The Barrel, only has 1 Omniverse, but other Monocosms can have more than one. These other Monocosms are contained within a Beyond Bubble, which contains an infinite number of Monocosms including The Barrel. Some Monocosms have one Omniverse, like ours, others have none and others still have more than one. Some even have an infinite amount. (The one Venrensorys came from, for example.)

    • Who's Venrensorys?

    • Plus i through the omniverse contain absolutely everything imaginable (every tv¬†show, book, fiction, and mind).

        Loading editor
    • The Omniverse doesn't quite contain everything imaginable, there are some things so abstract and beyond our ideas of reality that they are beyond the Omniverse.

Also Venrensorys is an extremely powerful cosmic entity, I put a hyperlink in that comment so if you click on the name 'Venrensorys' in my comment you'll be taken to his Wiki page.

    • DC/Marvel are most def their own Omniverses.

        Loading editor
    • ...Not really related to V&D but okay.
