The Infinite Madness, also known by many other names of which there are too many to list, is the source of all Disorder and Corruption, and the ultimate example of Horror.

There is currently no known thing or non-thing which could ever stand a chance against the collective whole of the Infinite Madness (Although Eternal Defiance was once more powerful than the Infinite Madness, she is currently trapped as mortal, leaving the Infinite Madness with no other opposition). There is not currently considered to be any threat to the Infinite Madness other than The True God itself.

There is nothing that can truly confirmed about the Infinite Madness, other than basic principles such as it "is" and "is not". This may be due to knowing anything about it, even knowing the very concept of it, having the potential to cause violent mutation and insanity within beings which are ill-equipped to properly understand and comprehend its nature. In all reality, The Infinite Madness is likely just a horrible amalgamation of everything that could exist, Every Concept, Theory, Philosophy, Paradox, Illogical statement and more.

Origin[]

There is no possible origin to the Infinite Madness as it had never been created, and no external forces were involved with its manifestation. It is simply a pure, unbridled cosmic force, driven only by its primal internal directives. It is, it is not, it always has been, it never has been, it will always be and it will never be. One of the few things known for sure, is that it and its spawn spread their influence from -verse to -verse, dimension to dimension, and leave naught but chaos, destruction, madness and terror in their wake. They know nothing of creation, and are only capable of destruction. When The Infinite Madness encounters a thing/non-thing, it seeks to degrade that thing into a lesser state.

How the forms work[]

There are no separate consciousnesses of The Infinite Madness, but rather it is instead capable of manifesting itself all throughout infinite -Verses, Dimensions, Realms, Realities, Fiction, Structures, Ideas, Concepts and the like (except for points in which its laws specify The Infinite Madness can not access, although it is currently developing means to bypass this), an infinite number of minor manifestations of a larger, more sinister force; like the tips of multiple icebergs breaking the surface, only for them to all actually be the edges of one incredibly massive iceberg beneath the water.

Essentially, The infinite madness is a hivemind, with its individual manifestations/avatars acting on its will.

Avatars - The Unthinkable[]

"The Unthinkable" are the avatars of the Infinite Madness, diversely varying in power but never weaker than high-altarcal. The Unthinkable are agents of chaos and insanity, driven by a desire to destroy all instances of order and structure and plunge all possible, semi-possible, impossible, and in general all cosmologies into utter anarchy. There have been some beings, in their obscured and uneducated perception, which mistake singular Unthinkable to be the "true" Infinite Madness and thus label it as such. This ignorant view is the safer one however, because as previously mentioned, knowledge of the Infinite Madness' true nature can pose a detrimental infohazard and a hazard in general. As the Infinite Madness is infinite, there is always at least one distinct detail of a given Unthinkable that makes it completely unique from all others. However, although an individual Unthinkable may seem to have some distinguished detail or another in some regard, it still does not possess any free will whatsoever. It is completely impossible for any individual Unthinkable to resist the collective will of Infinite Madness, as they are all part of the same entity. In the end, every single action made by an Unthinkable is on the behalf of the whole of the Infinite Madness. While "killing" or "destroying" an Unthinkable is a great and quite notable accomplishment, it is ultimately meaningless in the grand scheme. The death of an Unthinkable is akin to a single leaf falling off a much greater tree. At best, it only serves as a minor inconvenience to the whole of the Infinite Madness, which can simply and easily create a whole new Unthinkable to replace the lost one and continue work where the previous one had left off.

Such is the tireless and persevering nature of The Infinite Madness.

Miscellaneous Information[]

The Rulebreaker currently works below an Unthinkable in an effort to gain power to undermine his enemies, since Aspect Lords are always constantly fighting many forms of the madness and the Rulebreaker sees The Infinite Madness as the perfect weapon to deploy against them.
