Sunfeeders are a race of humanoid beings who feed off of any form of stars in order to power themselves and survive. Most sunfeeders throughout universes are rogue, and only exist knowing how to sustain themselves and fight other beings, however, there is a network, or, rather, a pseudo-civilization of powerful sunfeeders ruled by a female dictator named Solcana, who has lower ranking sunfeeders find more of their race to recruit them to the clan. If said feeder is interested, they will be subject to a set of harsh assignments which upon completion, allows them to join the clan. If they decline, or they're too feral, the recruiter kills them.

Creation

They are born via eggs being created by female sunfeeders and planted in moons or asteroids. The eggs can be planted in planets, but if the sunfeeder is born powerful enough, the planet will be torn open, likely killing the life on it. Female sunfeeders are more highly valued in the Sunfeeder clan, as they have the ability to create eggs and spread them throughout the universe, which creates more of their race. If their cores are fully charged, they have the ability to create dozens of eggs before needing to recharge themselves.

Sunfeeders are born as adults, and automatically know how to sustain themselves.

Solcana's children are known as the Sons of Solcana.

Sustentation

Sunfeeders take energy from stars by quite literally going up to them and absorbing the energy directly into their core, which is a sphere located in the middle of their chest that is slightly visible from the surface. If a sunfeeder is fatigued/drained enough, they will enter the orbit of the star they are looking to leech off of and enter a state of hibernation, staying in such a state for years. Sunfeeders are ageless, but if they go for too long without absorbing energy from other stars, their cores will decompose, killing them.

Neutron stars sustain sunfeeders the most, but any blue or yellow star will also do. Sunfeeders have the ability to absorb energy from giants but this doesn't sustain them nearly as much. They'll stay in orbit for centuries in this case if needed. The denser a star is, the more sustenance it will provide for the sunfeeder leeching off of it. If absolutely necessary, sunfeeders will absorb nebulae of stars that have undergone supernovae, but only if they're low on energy.

The most powerful sunfeeders have the ability to absorb entire stars within hours to days, depending on the size and/or density of the star. Some sunfeeders have mastered magic which involves portal creation, so that they may absorb the energy from multiple stars at once while not moving from the location in which they created the portals.

Some more powerful sunfeeders have the ability to siphon energy directly from the cores of other sunfeeders. If all of the energy within a Sunfeeder's core is absorbed, said sunfeeder's core will automatically decompose. Sunfeeder recruiters do this to rogue sunfeeders if they refuse to join their clan.

Information

The sunfeeders are known throughout the universes as an extremely powerful race, as even one sunfeeder has the ability to destroy entire planets and travel in a way that bends space by using energy from their core, so they're able to circumvent the laws of physics in whatever universe they're in. Some sunfeeders are taken in by other civilizations and trained in their arts so they may be used as useful assets in armies and whatnot.

Sunfeeders have the ability to regenerate, in fact, they can regenerate from injuries within a short amount of time as long as their core is charged and intact. If a limb is severed, for example, it'll take a few minutes to an hour. If their entire body is obliterated, for example, if a star they're feeding on undergoes a supernova, their core will be overfilled by the energy of the star, but won't be destroyed. Their regeneration from this state will take a few days.

A sunfeeder's core is extremely dense, but will not become a black hole under any circumstances. Sunfeeders can "train" to increase the maximum capacity of their cores by feeding on more stars, however, some sunfeeders have extremely high potential, and can hold several hundred neutron stars within their cores.
