A prism is a shape made from the cartesian product of another shape (called the base) and a line segment. It is the simplest way to extend a shape into a higher dimension. A shape with an X dimensional base will be X+1 dimensional.
The subfacets of a prism are two copies of the subfacets of the base, and one copy of the prisms of the subfacets of the base.
The hypervolumes of a prism are the hypervolumes of the base, multiplied by the prism's height, plus two times the hypervolumes of the base.
