A polytelon (plural polytela) is a 1-dimensional shape bounded together by points in a line. There is only one polytelon that can be formed by considering points in a real line, the line segment. It makes up the edges of higher dimensional shapes called polytopes and makes up the boundary of two dimensional polygons.

Polytela that are created from points in a complex line are called comtela, which create the boundary of complex polygons and do not have a defined interior due to the fact that complex numbers are not well-ordered.
