The great stellated dodecahedron is a regular star polyhedron created from 12 pentagrammic faces, with three meeting at each vertex. It is one out of four stellations of the dodecahedron, with the other three being the dodecahedron, the great dodecahedron, and the small stellated dodecahedron.
Its Bowers acronym is gissid.
