A comtelon is a one-dimensional complex polytope, in which all of the vertices have positions in a one-dimensional complex space (and each point can therefore be described by a single complex number), rather than a real space like polytela.
Because each complex number corresponds to two real numbers, comtela each have representations as real two-dimensional polygons.
